December Kids’ Speak

The holidays are right around the corner and we thought it was the perfect time to ask the kids, “what is your favorite holiday family tradition?” Their answers are sure to bring some holiday cheer!


LeMay:

Alex – the family wears Christmas PJ’s
Brayden – leave carrots for the reindeers and cookies for Santa
Audrey – make Christmas cookies
Lily – decorate tree together
Elora – facetime with grandparents

Birchcrest:

Owen – We all wear the same clothes every Christmas. In the morning we eat breakfast before opening presents.
Riley – Every Thanksgiving we put up our Christmas decorations. 
Jaela – On New Year’s Eve we celebrate because it is my birthday and we watch fireworks outside or on T.V. 
Clara “Nine” – We always go over to my brother and sister-in-laws to try out all kinds of different turkeys. 

Fairview:

Josiah – finding the pickle in the tree
Bree – looking for my elf and decorating the tree
Aalexa – eating a big meal
Aalana – decorating the tree
Isabella – putting out milk and cookies for Santa
Emily – hanging out with my family
Weyler – playing XBox

Twin Ridge:

Owen – making gingerbread cookies and opening boxes for a present guessing game 
Faustina – doing our present exchange 
Jaxson – making Christmas decorations and doing Christmas coloring pictures
Donovan – eating turkey on Christmas and spending time with my family, I love food at Christmas dinner
Joseph – opening Christmas presents with my family
Fatima – when we put up our Christmas tree

Leonard Lawrence:

Rico – playing sports
Brooklyn – watching lights on Christmas
Aubrey – getting presents and my elf on the shelf, Carol
